DRESS CODE

We’d love for our wedding to feel elegant, but easygoing — just like us! Our suggested dress code is Cocktail Attire, with plenty of room to show off your personal style. Think polished, semi-formal looks — suits, dresses, or whatever comes to mind when you picture a wedding — but please, don’t stress about strict rules.

We know how tricky dress codes can be, so more than anything, we want you to feel comfortable, confident, and ready to celebrate — all while keeping the occasion in mind.

For a little inspiration, our wedding colours are dark forest green, sage green, lazy gray with some touch of black and white which you’ll see woven through the décor and bridal party. You’re welcome to incorporate these tones into your outfit if you like, but truly — any colour is welcome (except white, for obvious reasons!). We made sure our colours play nicely with just about anything.

At the end of the day, your presence is what matters most to us.

A Little Story Behind Our Wedding Colours

When we started planning, there was one thing we both instantly agreed on — no classic black and white wedding for us. But at the same time, bold and bright colours didn’t feel quite right either. We wanted something timeless, subtle, and true to who we are.

It all came down to two favourites: blue and green. And with green being Jamal’s favourite (and honestly, such a perfect colour for a wedding), the decision felt easy. It brings that soft, natural, calming energy we love — without making a big fuss.

And for anyone wondering — no, you won’t see any red around. As much as we love the holidays, we didn’t want our wedding to feel like a Christmas party!

We hope the colours and the atmosphere make you feel relaxed, happy, and completely yourself — because that’s exactly what this day is about.
